This policy explains what information The Drag Car Racer (thedragcarracer.com) collects when you use the site, how it's used, and the choices you have. The Drag Car Racer is one of a family of free browser simulators that also includes The Boat Docker, The Driver Tester, The Trailer Parker and The Train Yarder.

Information we collect

We don't ask you to create an account, and we don't ask for your name, email address or any other personal details to use the simulator. Your race times stay in your browser and aren't sent to us.

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message, and we use it only to reply.

Settings saved in your browser

The simulator uses your browser's local storage to remember your setup choices, such as your vehicle class and controller setting, along with your best times for the leaderboard, so they're still selected next time. This data stays on your device. You can clear it at any time through your browser's settings.

Advertising

The site does not show third-party ads and does not use advertising cookies.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages and scenarios they use, and what kind of device and browser they're on. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device type and pages visited. We use this only in aggregate, to improve the simulators. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Links to other sites

The site links to our other simulators and to our blog at theboatdocker.com. Those sites follow this same policy.

Children

The site is meant for a general audience and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
