The Driver Tester
Practice the maneuvers your road test actually grades — then see if you'd pass.
About The Driver Tester
Most people who fail a road test don't fail because they can't drive. They fail on one or two specific maneuvers: a parallel park that touches the curb, a three-point turn that takes five moves, a lane change without a shoulder check, or a left turn into too small a gap. The Driver Tester lets you practice exactly those moments, as many times as you want, before test day.
Each of the seven scenarios is graded the way an examiner thinks about it. Did you finish the maneuver? Did you end up straight and centered? Did you leave enough room? Did you touch anything? You get a score in five-minute sessions, and 100 points is a pass, so you'll know whether you're ready before you're sitting next to the examiner.
Five habits examiners look for
- Signal, mirror, shoulder, then move. The order matters as much as the maneuver.
- Keep three seconds of space behind the car ahead, and more when the road is wet.
- Go slowly when parking. Nearly every curb strike comes from backing faster than you can correct.
- Wait for a real gap before turning left. If you're counting and not sure, it's too small.
- Finish straight and centered. Examiners score where you end up, not just whether you got there.
Pick the vehicle closest to what you'll drive on test day. A bigger vehicle makes the same parking space noticeably harder. If you'd rather learn without a clock, switch Timer & Scoring off for Practice Mode.
